MC-1000PP IC Tube End Stop Pin Puller

MC-1000PP is a hand tool for removing end stop pins from IC shipping tubes when its slot can engage beneath the pin head. The tool has slotted ends and a ribbed body for gripping during extraction. It is useful when loading, unloading, inspecting, or preparing tubes for reuse.

Using the puller

1. Check the engagement. Confirm that the slot fits beneath the pin head and that the surrounding tube and devices provide working clearance.
2. Support the tube. Keep components controlled as the closure is removed so they cannot slide out unexpectedly.
3. Withdraw the pin. Apply controlled force in the pin’s removal direction. Avoid levering against the tube wall or device leads. Stop if the pin binds or the tube begins to distort.

Fit and reuse

Pin-head shape, available clearance, and the tube profile determine whether this puller is suitable. A shared product family does not establish compatibility with every pin. Review the end stop pin range and confirm the actual tool-to-pin fit.

Inspect the tool slot, pin, and retention hole before reuse. Replace damaged pins and review enlarged or damaged holes before reloading a tube. Use the tool within your established ESD-control process; no electrical classification is specified here.
