A starting point for your device
The MC-77005 uses long, narrow cavities with rounded channel profiles. Its 4.770″ × 2.390″ footprint provides a compact starting point for handling small leaded devices individually.
For a TO-style device, the body diameter, flange, lead length and lead spacing all affect fit. The plan and section show different width references, so the pocket should be reviewed as a shaped profile rather than a simple rectangular opening.

Look beyond the overall size
The line view shows the channel shape and separating rails. Send a side view of your device as well as its package outline so we can consider body support, lead clearance and removal.
