ESD Tube Filler MC-3125CTS

MC-3125CTS is a black conductive foam IC tube stuffer measuring 0.320 in. wide × 0.125 in. thick × 19.00 in. long. Cut a suitable working length to occupy unused space in a partially loaded shipping tube and limit device travel during handling, storage, and shipment.

Selecting and Using MC-3125CTS

This black closed-cell foam strip provides a compressible filler for compatible IC shipping tubes. Select the cross-section and working length together so the foam controls movement without excessive pressure on the device stack.

1. Check the cross-section. Compare the filler width and thickness with the tube cavity and the loaded device geometry. Keep pressure away from exposed leads and other delicate features.
2. Set the working length. Account for the loaded device quantity and both end closures. The supplied 19.00-inch strip is cut to suit the remaining usable space.
3. Check the assembled package. Confirm that the filler limits travel and the closures seat normally without forcing or over-compressing the load.

A tube filler controls internal space. The matching end stop pins or end stop plugs retain the contents. Qualify the tube, filler, closures, and any outer protective packaging together for the device and shipping conditions.
