Tube fillers occupy unused internal length, reduce device travel and can support application-specific loading arrangements. Select filler by the tube profile, device geometry, required material and the length of void that must be controlled.

Use Filler to Control Movement, Not as a Substitute for Fit

A correctly selected tube profile controls the device across its critical body and lead geometry. Filler addresses the remaining longitudinal void or, in some special configurations, provides an additional support element. It should not be used to force an otherwise incompatible device into a profile.

Many fillers can be cut to the required working length. Confirm the actual tube length, device count and closure arrangement before establishing the filler length.
