IC Tube Retention and Void Control

IC Tube Accessories

Pins, plugs and filler solve different retention problems. The correct accessory depends on the tube profile, end geometry, loaded quantity and how much device movement must be controlled.

Choose the Accessory by Function

A tube accessory should match the profile and the retention job. A plug that fits one opening may not fit another profile, a pin depends on the tube’s retention-hole geometry, and filler controls unused internal length rather than closing the tube by itself.

Accessory Compatibility Is Profile Specific

Know the tube part numberAn existing Malaster tube part number is the fastest reference for finding the intended closure or filler arrangement.
If the tube is unknownProvide the profile drawing or opening dimensions, retention-hole details and the desired closure method.
For partial loadsUse filler or another qualified method to control excessive travel rather than relying only on the end closure.
